Knute (K.O.) Munson is pretty well known as a pin-up artist of the ’40s and ’50s. His incomplete biography relates that he was a student of Andrew Loomis at the Art Institute of Chicago, and was in mainstream illustration before finally specializing in pin-up pastels.
